We had a meeting with the IDEX team about the new updates and an introduction to the new features. I must say I’m really impressed by the results. IDEX has now integrated the Rig Action Plan (RAP) and you can tick off what's done, which makes the handover and the operation much easier to follow. You can even add comments on the individual steps, and the office can follow everything live.
IDEX saves us so much time with pressure testing, following the Operational Procedures and reporting to the office.
Before IDEX, we had to print out the cabsheet and walk to the well intervention supervisor, and he had to write it in himself. We had to put in all the pressures, weights, volumes, leak tests etc. manually. Now all this goes automatically.
Now there are less documents in the coil cab, and we finally have a system that has all the information in one place! And not least, everyone has the latest version of the RAP - that is really helpful."
