IDEX - The Digital Platform for Well Interventions

Written by Pål Larsen | Jul 8, 2021 1:01:07 PM

The IDEX collaboration platform for data aggregation, visualization and decision support in the Well Intervention workflow has been recognised as a key component in an Oil Company Digitalisation strategy, like Aker BP's.

At Aker BP, their aim is to create a digital environment which allows all of the well intervention team, onshore and offshore, to plan and execute operations more effectively. Through previous projects with Aker BP, IDEX has been proven to be a mature platform which enables safer, faster and more cost-efficient decision-making by integrating planned job data with real-time data.

Now IDEX will be fully embedded in their digital workflow, integrating with the Cognite Data Fusion architecture to allow remote, collaborative problem solving and preventive decision making in real time, enhancing operational efficiency.

Our Digital Strategy is critical to improved efficiency in the Intervention & Stimulation Alliance. Accurate planning, collaborative operations and full transparency in decision making are all expected within the Alliance.

Having access to all of the latest data, information and analyses at all times, from wherever you are, is required to make this a reality. IDEX has already shown us how we can benefit from a truly collaborative platform embedded within our digital workflows.

Stian Ø. Jørgensen, VP D&W – Operations Intervention Alliance.

IDEX was built as a platform that could be adapted to suit specific workflows. With the ability to link to existing datastores to access the latest well information and with customer specific best practices in easy to use job templates, it is designed to promote end-to-end planning, operations and analysis of all intervention jobs, says Pal Larsen, COO of Stimline.
