Stimline Digital and Equinor have entered into a long-term agreement to create a digital collaboration platform for Equinor’s well intervention operations.
Based on Stimline’s proven IDEX platform, the solution provides a digital workplace for planning, executing and analysis of all well intervention jobs in a completely integrated, end-to-end, cloud-based solution.
Right from the start, the whole team will be able to work together to build the next intervention program, reducing meetings, emails, formatting of documents and in general, creating a working environment that encourages collaboration.
With project tracking built in, all actions are automatically followed-up and review meetings and approval all happen within the platform.
One key benefit to the collaboration platform is creating a common program used by both engineers planning the job and the operations team who have to execute the job.
Working with digital DOPs, rig teams can execute and track progress in real-time and of course, all of that data is also available post job for review and reporting, dramatically reducing multiple data entry systems and allowing full focus on executing efficiently every time.
Being able to see the same data from the job at any time is the key to making informed decisions and can make the difference between a job being completed successfully or not.
To get maximum benefit from the platform, there will be an alignment with Equinor’s existing processes, and integration work with key well datastores, risks and lessons learned tools.
