Big News! Stimline Digital has just sealed a significant agreement with Weatherford, designating IDEX Designer as Weatherford's global wireline modelling application.

IDEX is designed to improve efficiency for service companies integrating planning and operations tools. This integration allows more time to be spent identifying the technical risks of a job and understanding how to mitigate those risks. IDEX also provides real-time information to the whole team at all times so that proactive decisions can be made as each run progresses to ensure the best chance of success. Weatherford has selected IDEX Designer as their global wireline modelling application. Designer features integrated simulators for hydraulics and torque and drag analysis.
This allows the user to evaluate the job plan and be able to;
- Determine maximum reach for a given bottom hole assembly and evaluate potential hold up issues
- Compare different bottom hole assembly designs to understand the best option for wells with a complex profile
- Estimate the maximum overpull whilst running-in-hole (RIH) or pulling-out-of-hole (POOH)
